Collective action “How do you say knee” in your dialect?” (2024)
This collective action by the Mesa Redonda Collective was presented at the National Museum of Anthropology.
Do we really have a mother tongue? Just one? Which one is it? We want to speak, stammer, stutter, sing, chat, and laugh in all our languages. Because what we want is to communicate with each other, all the people of the diaspora: those born here, those who arrived as children, those who came as adults, those adopted. And we're going to do it in all possible languages, mixed and unmixed, in Madrid, in Wenzhounese, Qingtian, or Cantonese, in Mandarin, and also in English. With an accent, but without shame. Because we want, I want, to know how to say "knee" in your dialect.
