Intercultural Mediation in art, education and society

Mediation is a fundamental pillar of my artistic, educational, and social practices, with a special focus on the Chinese diaspora in Spain and its relationship with society. My work focuses on interculturality, migration, and building bridges between communities.

I am a co-founder of the Liwai Intercultural Action Association and I have worked as an intercultural mediator in the social project Integracenter of the Centro district, as well as in the project of educational mediation in Usera (Madrid), in addition to collaborating with various public cultural institutions. The lines of work I can offer include:

  • Mediation in museums and art centers, designing inclusive and accessible experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Development and execution of mediation projects aimed at the Chinese, Asian diaspora and racialized communities, with activities for families, teens and adults.
  • Mediation and interpretation in the social and socio-educational field, facilitating dialogue and intercultural coexistence.
  • Creation of teaching materials on intercultural mediation for institutions, educators and professionals.
  • Research and advice on intercultural mediation, developing specific approaches to education and art.
  • Training and teaching in intercultural mediation.

Below, I highlight some of the topics covered in my training initiatives.
